Communication

There are three main ways our teachers and staff communicate with families.

1. Infinite Campus (IC): Please be sure that your contact information in IC is updated and that you have your username and password to log into IC.  IC is how our teachers communicate attendance and grades, so it is important that you check there for that information regularly.  Additionally, having your information correct in IC ensures that we are able to contact you if there is something we need to share about your child's progress, an incident, or in the case of an emergency.

2. Connect Ed: Sometimes, you will get information from WCSD or Libby Booth via email, text, or phone call using an automated system.  This could include information about delayed starts/ snow days, district initiatives such as school of choice, or upcoming events important to school.  Connect Ed is also the system that emergency messages are sent through.  To ensure you have access, make sure that your contact information in IC is updated.

3. Class Dojo: Class Dojo is a friendly and encouraging way for us to communicate with families.  It feels like social media with a "story" section and also the ability to send direct messages to your child's teacher(s), our counselor, and administrators.  Specific information about upcoming events is posted there.  If you are a parent of a student at Libby Booth, and you are not connected to Class Dojo, please use the Contact Us button and send a message to the office so that we can get you connected.  Alternatively, you may choose to come into the office where our office staff have QR codes to get you connected directly to your child's class.  This platform is FREE to use! Please do not feel obligated to pay for any part of this service.  You do not need to pay to interact meaningfully.
