Become a Volunteer

 

 

Libby Booth Elementary School encourages our families and the community to volunteer. 

 

We have exciting events coming up, and we would love your help! Become involved in the memorable experiences we are building together at Booth Elementary!  In order to volunteer on campus, you must first complete the application using this link.  There are no paper applications, and we recommend you complete this application on a laptop or computer.  If you need a device, we have one in our office lobby you can use.

You only need to do fingerprinting if you will be helping in unsupervised capacities such as overnight field trip chaperoning.

 Some opportunities for volunteering include:

• Chaperoning on day field trips
• Helping in your child's classroom either with a small group or clerical tasks the teacher may need to have done (copies, etc.)
• Helping with recess or lunch room duty supervision

Once your application has been approved, you should reach out to your child's teacher to schedule a time to come in.  Volunteer opportunities should be pre-arranged.  We follow the district's guidelines found here.  It is important to note that volunteering is a privilege, not a right, and we purposefully seek volunteers committed to assisting our school with our academic achievement and interpersonal experience goals.
