Students return after fall break.  Can't wait to see them!

October 24-30
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Please be sure to sign up with your child's teacher for a date and time.  You will get good information about academic progress and set goals for your child with her or his teacher.
Paper Pie Book Fair
Ms. June in the library will have Paper Pie books for sale.  This is a great way to increase your at-home library with books kids love!  Come check it out while you're on campus for conferences and during Harvest Festival (see below)!!

Harvest Festival
5:00 - 7:00 pm
This is one of our biggest funraisers of the school year and how we support student activities, field trip costs, and occasional staff incentives throughout the year.  Please join us!

October 31
Nevada Day
No school!

November 5
Spread the Word Nevada
SWN will be on campus distributing books for every student.  Ask your child what she or he picked up and hopefully can't keep their nose out of for a while.  ;)

November 7
Quarter 1 Celebration
We'll take some time to recognize Bruins who are showing achievement in academic areas, with attendance, and by having exhibited ROAR behaviors in quarter 1.

November 11
Veterans Day
No school!

November 26-28
Thanksgiving Break
No school!

December 3
Spread the Word Nevada
SWN will be on campus distributing books for every student.  Ask your child what she or he picked up and hopefully can't keep their nose out of for a while.  ;)

December 9-12
iReady Middle-of-Year Testing
Please be sure students get good rest during this time.  Ask them about their goals for middle of the year.  (Our school improvement plan goal is that all students make at least 50% of their typical growth goal for the year...  since we'll be 50% of the way through the year!)

December 19-January 5
Winter Break
Enjoy this time with family and friends!  Students return on TUESDAY, January 6 after teachers return on Monday for professional development.
